About Big Dan
Born in Portland Oregon and a "Lifer" of the Northwest, Big Dan has been with KIX 96 since '94 and enjoys playing you 50 minutes or more of your favorites over the Night Time Airwaves from 7-Midnight, Monday through Friday and taking your request and dedications at (509) 241-96-96 ...His tour of radio duty has taken him all over the State of Washington, including stations in Walla Walla at KUJ... KOTY and OK-95 in the Tri-Cities...KZHR in Yakima....and at previous Spokane radio stations, such as OLDIES 101.1 and LITE ROCK KISS.  He also taught 8 years at a Spokane Broadcast School.

You will find Big Dan active in plenty of KIX 96 events, such as hosting KIX 96 Night at Big Al's Stateline Idaho every other Friday Night.

If not busy with the Radio Broadcast business, Big Dan is very busy as a songwriter collaborating and networking with other songwriters. A few years ago he signed a publishing deal with "Writin' Half"/Square One Records of Nashville.

In his spare time he enjoys hangin' with family and friends.
He loves doing road trips, watching all kinds of movies, swimming and bowling.

Fall Classic Kicks Off!!

Well the Fall Classic kicks off tonight in St. Louis between the Cardinals and Texas Rangers....Me? I'm a Rangers fan and not afraid to admit it.

Country artist David Nail is a Cards fan and Scotty McCreary will sing the National Anthem tonight before Game 1 gets underway.
